Wise is the one who flavors the future with some salt from the past

Wise is the one who flavors the future who some salt from the past…

To be honest, my “story” is not the story I wanted. I begged God so many times to “take this cup of suffering from me!” I don’t want to go through this. I trust you God, I really do. I believe you are a healer, deliverer, way maker and so much more. I’m not the type that has to “learn through suffering”. I understand it God. And, I know many of you can relate! I mean, really… who would want to go through pain, loss and heartache if they had the choice?!? No one! But, we have to know that even in whatever hurt, heartache or suffering that we go through God is ALWAYS with us (Matthew 28:20). And he’ll never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask God to have his way and for his will, not ours to be done. But do we REALLY mean it? Do we have an added clause to our statements to say up until this?!? If it comes to this, I’m out God?!? We must understand that EVERYTHING that happens to us, is actually happening for us, as it is for our good and for our purpose. God longs to have relation with us. He is jealous about his relationship with us (Exodus 34:14) and will remove anything that we have before him, which we have made our God. Since we fight from victory, the challenges that we face and go through is really to change us. To shift our focus, our perspective and our lives so that we can become and look more like him. I’ve personally experienced some heavy losses and had my share of regrets, but I’m thankful that God never left me. He was ALWAYS in the fire and rivers of difficulty with me making sure I made it through (Isaiah 43:2). For that, my lips will continually give God praise! “I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from GOD, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.” (Psalm 121:1)
