Stay Alert and Be in Prayer

“Stay alert; be in prayer so you don’t wander into temptation without even knowing you’re in danger. There is a part of you that is eager, ready for anything in God. But there’s another part that’s as lazy as an old dog sleeping by the fire.” Matthew 26:41 MSG

We need to be consistent in prayer and reading our word, it’s essential. God cannot work with a lazy person, so we have to stay in the face of God and surrender to our flesh! That’s how we’ll receive fresh oil and manna from God. People generally start off strong, but somewhere down the line they become lazy. We want to know more of God, we want fresh revelation and insight. We want him to move in a mighty way in our lives and our loved ones lives, but do our actions reflect that’s what we really want?!? What are we willing to sacrifice so that God’s will and purpose will be done in our lives? It will take work on our part, however the more we get to know him, the more he reveals to us. As we began to see and want more of what God wants, he becomes our strength, our lifeline, our sustainer. Our lives, our hearts and our actions will begin to reflect that of the kingdom of God.

Wise is the one who flavors the future with some salt from the past

Wise is the one who flavors the future who some salt from the past…

To be honest, my “story” is not the story I wanted. I begged God so many times to “take this cup of suffering from me!” I don’t want to go through this. I trust you God, I really do. I believe you are a healer, deliverer, way maker and so much more. I’m not the type that has to “learn through suffering”. I understand it God. And, I know many of you can relate! I mean, really… who would want to go through pain, loss and heartache if they had the choice?!? No one! But, we have to know that even in whatever hurt, heartache or suffering that we go through God is ALWAYS with us (Matthew 28:20). And he’ll never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask God to have his way and for his will, not ours to be done. But do we REALLY mean it? Do we have an added clause to our statements to say up until this?!? If it comes to this, I’m out God?!? We must understand that EVERYTHING that happens to us, is actually happening for us, as it is for our good and for our purpose. God longs to have relation with us. He is jealous about his relationship with us (Exodus 34:14) and will remove anything that we have before him, which we have made our God. Since we fight from victory, the challenges that we face and go through is really to change us. To shift our focus, our perspective and our lives so that we can become and look more like him. I’ve personally experienced some heavy losses and had my share of regrets, but I’m thankful that God never left me. He was ALWAYS in the fire and rivers of difficulty with me making sure I made it through (Isaiah 43:2). For that, my lips will continually give God praise! “I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from GOD, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.” (Psalm 121:1)

National Day Of Prayer

🙏 On this #NationalDayOfPrayer I’m praying that God will raise up some Fire Starters whose flames cannot be contained, and in turn it sets their communities on fire for God! I’m praying that you have the boldness to go out and be all that God has called you to be. I’m praying that ANYTHING the enemy has held back, blocked, sabotaged, misdirected or destroyed be released in the name of Jesus! I’m praying that God will pour out his spirit upon us and shift the atmosphere. God wants to use us to do greater works than even what was done in the Bible days! (John 14:12). Step out on Faith! Walk in boldness and without fear. If God be for us, who can ever be against us? (Romans 8:31).

Today’s Verse

I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples.” John‬ ‭15:5-8‬ ‭MSG‬‬

The Comeback

The comeback is always stronger than the setback… Let me tell you… what the enemy THOUGHT was a setback was actually a SET-UP! 🙌 The devil tried it, multiple times might I add… BUT, #ItsBeenCancelled! 😏😉🙌💃🏽 I thank God for his continuous faithfulness. He promised in PSALM 121:7-8 that he will protect me from all evil; He will keep my life. The LORD will guard my going out and my coming in [everything that I do] From this time forth and forever. You see, I have to personalize this because the enemy is continuously trying to come against me, which becomes reciprocal in that it affects all of those who are connected to the ministry that God has birthed in me. Not so! I know who’s I am and stand in purpose to ensure that all of God’s plans for me will be fulfilled. I want to see God be gloried in my life and yours. The weapon may have formed, but it will NOT prosper. I may have lost some things, but I didn’t lose everything… and I give God praise!!! I’ve been set-up for greatness and the best is yet to come! #AllTheWayUp
