I was recently in a situation that caused me to battle back and forth on a decision I needed to make. Because of who was connected and involved in this situation, I honestly thought I had no other choice but to begrudgingly succumb to it. You see, the devil is cunning and knows exactly how to get to you. He knows what buttons to push and even who to use to get you off course or lose your focus. This particular decision, if based on trying to please people, would have caused me to be in a situation that would have literally tortured me, yet I was almost willing to go with the flow even though I had no peace about it at all! God revealed to me over and over (because I was just that hard headed) that I don’t have to accept this pressure. Everyday, people are doing the same thing. Succumbing to peer pressure or various pressures of the world, heading down a route that will torture them by stealing their peace, their joy and eventually their relationship with God. If the enemy can trick people into neglecting their relationship with God, to allow their peace and joy to be snatched, to believe that there is not an escape or even not accept Jesus as their savior, they are heading down a path of eternal damnation. Why would you subject yourself to that when there is a way of escape?!? Jesus provided the ultimate sacrifice so that we don’t have to be tortured. “He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.” (Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬) “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:5‬) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬) All you have to do is say YES!!! Your literal freedom is connected to saying yes! “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”‭‭ (Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬)

I don’t know everything, but I do know that God has me. 🤗 I trust him with my life knowing that all things are ALREADY working together for my good! The devil is ALREADY defeated and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. ✝️💖 #MakingJesusNameGreat

💖🌟 #TransparencyPost: My mom passed away 6 months ago, and now, my dad is gone too. 😩😢 To be honest, until very recently my dad and I did not have the best relationship. So, the fact that we recently started to build upon our father-daughter relationship and he is now gone hurts even more, it truly does. But, I thank God for being my constant. 🙌Where I could easily feel lost, alone and even orphaned, God has given me the oil of gladness (Psalm 45:7). Although I may never understand why bad things happen in my finite mind, I know that God loves me (and you) and will never leave me or forsake me (Hebrews 13:5). You see, God in his omniscience knew that our last conversation would be our last. I didn’t know, but I’m thankful that God used me to minister to my dad, build him up, ensure him that I loved and honored him as my father, and that I forgave him, as he forgave me as well. We ended that conversation assured that my dad was saved and knew Jesus. In all sincerity, my hearts desire is to see all of my family and friends in heaven with me 🎉😇😊. And as such, since I seem to be closely reminded once again of mortality and how quickly someone can be here today and gone tomorrow; I can’t help but use this post to implore whomever reads this to give your heart to Jesus. There is such a peace that comes with knowing Jesus, and when you leave this Earth you’ll be with Jesus forever. I ask you to consider these questions, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul?
